The York Bassmasters would like to invite any interested and potential new members to their March meeting which is Thursday March 25th.

Location - Bass Pro Shops (meeting room next to the reel counter)
Time - 7pm

We will be have guest speaker Rocky Crawford at this months meeting for those who wanna come out.

Read Minutes of previous meeting – No minutes from December – NO MEETING

 Conservation:

·        in 2010 we will be assisting the same group

·        need to set up bass transfer tournament

•                  York will assist with building a walkway over the pond

•                  more tree planting in May & October (dates tbd)

•                  Bogart Creek group are still in planning stages for this year, more info to come

 

 Youths:

·        Youth Director – John Rudyk

·        Eugene is to become Casting Kids Director for the OBFN after Herb steps down (right after Spring Fishing & Boat Show)

 

Tournaments:

 

·        York should have a Perch T in the spring, Beny would do fish fry after

·        Should we have an open tournament (such as Lindsay’s)? General agreement that there should be one York member per boat

·        Tournament Director: Dave Burling has agreed to assume this position, Kevin Martin will assist

·        Vic is our new Media Director

·        • Laura voluntold to be Social Director for post-Tournament “activities”

 

Fundraising: (50/50)

 

·        50/50 - $90-Kevin M / $90-Club

 ·        To donate $200 to Casting Kids championship

Do we have monthly speakers lined up for this year? Craig has been in touch with various people, waiting to hear;

Mark T. would bring in “Smallmouth Neighborhood” DVD and/or do show & tell with Kistler rods; “Tournament Talk” (summer); Tony from Extreme Marine (?); Barry – new Humminbird gear
